International Boxer and Irish Intermediate Champion

‘I was training hard I’d do well right? Not really… I had been so fatigued and practically starving myself for over a week coupled with extended periods of running up to 15 miles a night and performing 18 rounds of conditioning work in the run up to the weigh in. I made the weight but I was so fatigued and had eaten so little that I couldn’t eat afterwards and lost the fight, retiring in the third round of the semi final. I knew I was better than this I knew something had to change but I didn’t know what… so what did I do? Trained more! For the next 6-8 months I trained harder and still no change. I struggled with weight and observed no change in performance or my physique.

With Bryan’s help and training methods I  finally stopped wasting my time with endless cardio, sweat suit usage and severe calorie restriction, To finally start burning body fat, increase fitness and reach my true potential.

Today I am at a low 5% bodyfat and feel GREAT!! I’m exactly the same weight in the before photo as I am in the after photo above! I gained muscle and lost bodyfat at the same time!

I am currently all Ireland light welterweight champion and i have earned my place on the Irish team. I have been  living the dream in Las Vegas boxing out of a Top Rank Gym. twice in the past year and i have sparred dozens of world class boxers but  perhaps the most notable was Floyd Mayweather. Ever since my transformation i have had  the best training and sparring in Las Vegas, won an all Ireland title, boxed for my country and  took on the best pound for pound boxer in the world. Another Physique Competitor

I thought i’d explain a little more…I know Bryan personally and he has been giving me advice on both training and my diet for the last 5 weeks.

The end result?

I am hopeing to compete in my first competition. The NABBA bodybuilding show in September, I am 5 weeks into my diet and I have dropped 5% bodyfat and nearly 10lbs in weight.

The great news is i have not lost anything  in muscle mass so thats good news.

Skinny No More

I started weight training about three years ago. Basically I was more or less lost in the gym picking up dumbbells here and there doing slow sets of 10 or 12 and taking 2 or 3 min rests!! No results, gained a bit of strength but nothing to be happy about!

Around a year or more later I started using ABS. Bryan put me on a program with quick sets and short rest periods, so I actually broke a sweat in the gym and burned off more fat.

My training is a lot quicker and I’m in and out of the gym in an hour now because I know what I’m doing….And judging by the pictures its clearly working :)

65 Year Old Benefits From Online Training

Hey Bryan,

Just a thank you and a few comments on how your online service has changed not only my shape but also my thoughts and lifestyle now that I have retired at age 65.

Like most men and women, on retirement, I was left with the choices, what do I do now and how do I want to do it. Recognising that retirement is only as good as the health you enjoy, I decided it would be in my best interests to get myself fitter than I was. I was also hoping to lose that mysterious bulge that had appeared over time which started at my sternum and made its way uninterrupted down to where my legs join my body. But where to start, that was the rub.

Starting with the Internet, I tried a few websites that dealt with “How to Create Your Own Six Pack”, you will know them, they promised that my stomach would be as flat as a pancake, usually within six weeks if I bought this device or that supplement. I may be gullible but I’m not completely stupid.

At the same time I joined my local gym and saw at first hand all the effort that goes into walking or running on a treadmill, rowing yourself to oblivion on the erg or sitting on all types of machines performing mind numbing exercises with what appeared for most people, very little results. When I asked some how long they had been exercising and what their aims were, I couldn’t stop myself from thinking “its not working”

I can only assume that sometimes good luck touches us and in my case, the good luck was finding your website. Although I was a little apprehensive, at 65 one does get a little apprehensive of new things, I decided to look into what you were recommending in terms of fat loss, fitness, diet and general well being. Can I say, I don’t give compliments easily, I was encouraged after your first email to learn that at 65, there was no reason that I could not achieve my goals. I remember your recommendation in your email was to “eat clean”. This sent me down the route of finding out what “eat clean” really meant.

Your emails and book soon put me on the right track, not only on the diet side of things but also on the training front as well.

When I first made contact with you, my weight was 13 stones 10 lbs, it is now a steady 12 stones 6 lbs. That weight loss, which was important to me, has meant the mysterious bulge, has not so mysteriously disappeared. Thank you!!! Its also a long time since I was able to run upstairs, even on the underground, so I’m also much much fitter than before.

Was I surprised by the results? In truth, the answer has got to be not really. Why should I be surprised when all the information and detail was there in your book. I just had the belief that what you were saying was true.

One thing which I must admit that did surprise me, was that you didn’t recommend all the hyped up supplements that promise so much. As I said, I can be accused of being gullible and you could have had a fish on the hook, but your simple suggestions as far as a protein supplement and fish oils has helped enormously not only with the weight loss but also the ability to maintain my training program. Again a big thanks for that.

Lastly, my family, particularly my son Daniel, who is pinch fit with not an ounce of fat on him, he’s in the military, has had to stop calling me “Fat Boy”!!! As for friends, they ask me what I’ve been doing and how come I look so much better. Needless to say, I direct them to your website and recommend that they get in touch with you. Thanks for your help and encouragement Bryan, couldn’t have done it without you !!!

I will write this for him as he will take a half an hour to type it . . no offence Dad! Well, turning 50 he was 16 stone or 101kg or over 220 lbs and that’s even with a VERY active job! Now he is nearly 53, 180lbs and plays racquetball twice a week and trains using ABS twice a week. That’s a complete lifestyle overhaul! It can be done even at 50!

A return to train and pain in an effort to attack the ever spreading evidence of a lack of exercise brought me by chance into contact with Bryan after asking one of his colleagues about VO2 Max, AT and all the rest.
A GB international oarsman in the 1980’s and used to a heavy training load, I now needed up to date advice on shedding that surplus and gaining fitness in a sustainable way.
