Personal Trainer Courses In The ABS Gym In Dublin

I’ve been threatening to do a personal trainer course or internship for some time but I never went for it.

So without further delay we will be launching a personal trainer internship course here in the ABS Gym in 2013.

If you’re looking to make a major change to the direction of your health and fitness-coaching career, want to learn a load of absolutely amazing knowledge, skills and abilities that’ll put you head and shoulders above 99% of the fitness industry look no further.

You’ve probably done one of the 2 day Poliquin personal training courses or some other presentation along the way.

This is different.

If you’re serious about learning to become a top-notch coach in a highly professional environment, learning an amazing array of specialized assessment, training and nutritional skills and developing knowledge, skills and abilities base second to none then the program I’m offering to a select group of coach interns in 2013 may be just what you’re looking for.

You’ll be asked to become extremely skilled and knowledgeable at applying physiology, biomechanics, biochemistry, biomechanics and lifestyle management skills to clients. But that’s not all.

Here’s what you get:

-Personal coaching from some of the best and most qualified in the business

-Experience training clients using our unique system

-Witness first hand how successful we are as trainers and the outlandish results we achieve with our clients.

-One to one training shadowing under one of the ABS Gym trainers for 12 hours per week including 3 personal training sessions with us per week.

Lets face it. You’ll learn a certain amount on personal training courses but you still need in the trenches experience.

That’s where we come in.

You will be taught how to do REAL WORLD consultations with clients.

It is hard enough getting a client to come in to have a chat with you. But what do you say then?

What do you do?

We will go through the consultation process with you in detail. You will learn how to find out exactly what your client needs and how to eliminate skepticism and get them into one of your programs.

If you’re inexperienced or stuck in a dead end personal training or gym instructing job then this is for you not to mention the fact that you’ll have more knowledge, skills and abilities at the end of the month than you’d ever believe possible.

It’s a chance to get off the beaten track that most trainers seem to follow and learn an educational skillset that will put you head and shoulders above 90% of the world’s coaches… as well as potentially earning more than most too.

As I said before those who have already completed internships with me in the past have gone on to achieve great things of their own.

I worked them all hard from day 1.

For a start, they all had to study a lot of new material that they’d never covered before.

Hydration, dehydration, hyperhydration and stage preparation for fitness models and bodybuilders and extreme fat loss. They covered it all.

– Corrective exercise theory and practice

– Advanced Program design

– Lifestyle assessment

– There’s marketing theory and practice, blogging, writing articles and more.

The truth is, the month long internship program we offer is tough. It’s unlike anything else in the profession anywhere else in the world right now.

But could you imagine what a month or two of that kind of education, support and positive pressure would do for you and your career?

Well, if it sounds good right now then let me see if I can put you off.

You will have to pay for this internship.

It is NOT one of those internships that you end up sweeping the floors and dusting the squat racks.

You have to work as part of a team. We don’t do bitching, whining or complaining.

You have to be willing to excel – My personal training team is excellent. They’re not perfect, but they’re excellent.

‘Perfection is not attainable, but if we chase perfection we can catch excellence.’ – Vince Lombardi

They are striving to excel all the time. They work hard at being better each day. They’re not all the best in the world at what they do, you may have a better skillset than them in some way, but that’s not important. What is important is that they want to be better, do better and have better than they currently are experiencing, and they take action on that desire.

That’s it!

I don’t care how old you are, how young you are, how many certs you have, how many degrees, how long you’ve been in the industry, how many books you’ve read.

I don’t care.

If you’re a good person who wants to be great, if you’re a good trainer who wants to be a great coach and if you’re passionate about giving the best you have in everything you do then you may be who I’m looking for to join my internship program.

So here’s how to apply.

I want you to answer a few questions.

This will help me get a good idea about what you’re like.
