One of my clients posted in our private Facebook group earlier, “January is the new February” and then the messing started and everyone started saying things like, yeah I’m starting now too and I just have to finish off all the cake that is left over, etc.
This is all very funny and all but I think she’s on to something.
I mailed you a couple of weeks ago and I told you the statistics of adherence to exercise and new years resolutions.
I forget the exact number but there were something like 80% of resolutions don’t last past February and 10% or less stick to the change long term.
All of those things are still true in February, it is Ireland after all, but at least January is over and people can remove their head from their a**es no and get on with life and more importantly, make some headway on their goals.
Pretend January didn’t happen. Blank it from your mind because, lets face it, it’s s*it…

If its too cold and windy to go for that walk you promised you’d do, join and indoor bootcamp or join a gym (I know just the one for you…shameless plug)
Set a new goal now, start that diet or new eating plan you said you would do before you finished the left over cake.
Look at your calendar…see what events you have coming up and count back the days.
If there is 8 weeks between now and when you’re going away, set a goal of 0.5 kilo per week. That’s 4kg or 9 lbs. Thats the guts of a stone.
That’s realistic and very doable then anything extra is a bonus.
Well?, what are you waiting for? Get the calendar out and start setting goals or you’ll be pissed off in March too.
