Ian Graham – CPT, USATF Level II Coach

Ian got involved in athletics training and competition while in secondary school, and as the years went on, he developed a keen interest in sports training, general health and fitness training.

He spent a year in 1999 working in the USA at various hotels and resorts as an activities coordinator, and in 2002/2003 he worked at a youth sports camp in Trinity, Texas, USA.

Later on in 2003, he qualified as a personal trainer through the National Training Centre (NTC) in Dorset Street, Dublin. He then spent many years working with the Athletics Association of Ireland.

In 2009 Ian commenced training for his first physique competition, which took place in Canada. He placed 5th in his first show, 2nd in his second show, and later went on that year to win the ‘Best Body’ award at the Mr. International Ireland Division event in Dublin.

In 2010 and 2012 Ian travelled to Canada to compete at the FSI (Fitness Star International) world championships, in which he placed 1st in 2010 (amateur-division) and then 1st in 2010 (pro-division)

After a break away from personal training, Ian is now back offering personal training services in The ABS Gym, Glasnevin, Dublin 9.
